Meet the Doctors
Meet Dr. Yohannes
Originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dr. Yohannes is excited to bring her passion for dentistry to the Carrollton community! She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Yohannes chose dentistry because it combines her love for art, science, and helping others. She is especially passionate about cosmetic dentistry, laser technology, and dental implants. One of her favorite parts of being a dentist is hearing how improving a patient's smile has positively impacted their life and confidence. She is also involved with ATL's Women's Dental Collective.
Outside of the office, Dr. Yohannes enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and staying active through running and her newest hobby, rowing. She even knows how to make homemade sushi! With family roots in Asmara, Eritrea, she brings a unique background and a genuine love for connecting with others.
Dr. Yohannes looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them feel confident in their smiles!
Meet Dr. Hanley
Originally from a small town north of Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Hanley has spent most of his life in the Southeast. He earned his bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from Auburn University in 2016 before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2020.
Dr. Hanley chose dentistry because of his passion for science, problem-solving, and helping others. He especially enjoys restorative dentistry, root canal treatments, and oral surgery, as well as helping patients regain their confidence through comprehensive dental care. Since 2021, he has proudly served as the sole dentist at Bain Dental Group's Bowdon location, providing everything from routine dental care to more complex treatments. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hanley enjoys traveling, strength training, virtual-reality gaming, and all things science fiction! He has been strength training for nearly 15 years and has a special interest in astronomy, space exploration, and technology. He also has two corgis, Arthur and Merlin, who keep life entertaining!
Dr. Hanley enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for with every visit.
Meet Dr. Lemaire
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Haitian immigrant parents, Dr. Lemaire grew up on Long Island as the youngest and only girl of four siblings. She attended Texas A&M University before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Lemaire chose dentistry because of her belief in caring for others and making a positive difference in her community. She is passionate about helping patients build confidence in themselves and their smiles. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients, understanding their individual needs, and guiding them through their dental journey. She also has a special interest in oral surgery. For Dr. Lemaire, seeing a patient happy with their treatment is one of the most rewarding parts of her career!
Outside of the office, Dr. Lemaire enjoys salsa dancing, cooking from scratch, weightlifting, learning new languages, and traveling. She has already visited 40 states and five of the seven continents, with hopes of exploring them all! She also has a 10-year-old Chihuahua named Chili, whom she received while living in Puerto Rico. Another exciting goal of hers is to one day become a private pilot!
Dr. Lemaire looks forward to creating meaningful connections with her patients and helping each person feel confident, comfortable, and cared for throughout their dental journey.
Meet Dr. Shawn
Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Dr. Shawn grew up with a strong appreciation for family, community, and building meaningful relationships. He attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College. His journey eventually brought him to Georgia, where he is excited to begin this next chapter of his career and become part of the community.
Dr. Shawn chose dentistry because it combines his love for healthcare, artistry, problem-solving, and connecting with people. He is especially passionate about cosmetic and implant dentistry, where he enjoys helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles while restoring their confidence. He also values continuing education and is dedicated to growing his skills to provide the best possible care. One of his favorite parts of dentistry is building relationships with patients, helping them feel comfortable, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shawn enjoys traveling, working out, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places and cultures. He also has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has always enjoyed finding ways to create something meaningful and impactful.
Dr. Shawn looks forward to getting to know his patients and providing personalized, compassionate care that helps everyone feel comfortable, confident, and valued.
Meet Dr. Brown
Originally from Sacramento, California, Dr. Brown made the move to Georgia to be closer to family and enjoy a more affordable lifestyle. She attended Norfolk State University on a softball scholarship before earning her dental degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.
Dr. Brown's passion for dentistry began at a young age after having positive experiences visiting the dentist as a child. She knew she wanted a career in healthcare that would also allow her to prioritize family, and dentistry was the perfect fit! She enjoys helping patients achieve their desired results, whether that means creating a smile they feel confident in or helping them find relief from pain. One of her favorite parts of dentistry is educating patients about their oral health and reassuring them that there are solutions to their dental concerns.
Outside of the office, Dr. Brown loves spending time with her family, cooking, skiing, and cheering on college softball teams! She taught all of her children to ski when they were young, and it's a hobby they still enjoy together as adults. She also volunteers at her church, helping facilitate new membership classes. A fun fact about Dr. Brown is that she enjoys making handcrafted natural skincare products, including soaps, body butters, and bath bombs!
